This web project provides "four to eXplore" for each topic. On each page you'll find definitions, activities, the 4 good starting points, and many more links and resources for the thematic topic. This is year five of our 42eXplore project. We now have over 200 topics in this theme archive!"

NASA Kid's Club Activities for children from kindergarten through grade 4. NASA will provide a wealth of resources that are safe, fun, and educational for your students. You can expect them to find reliable information on space-related topics, as well as games, Web quests, and even chats with NASA experts.

National Geographic for Kids The mission of National Geographic Kids is "to entertain children while educating and exciting them about their world." Geared toward children ages 6 to 14, National Geographic Kids is an interactive, multi-topic magazine covering animals, entertainment, science, technology, current events, and cultures from around the world.

OWL.org is a FREE service of the National Education Association and its State and Local Affiliates. Devoted to "Educators Helping Educators," OWL.org is an online community where educators connect to share their knowledge and experience. PBS TeacherSource

By Teachers, For Teachers: PBS TeacherSource materials are developed by trained and practicing educators. In addition to having teachers create curriculum materials, PBS regularly seeks educator feedback through surveys and focus groups, receives ongoing guidance from the team of exemplary teachers who make up the TeacherSource Advisory Group, and conducts periodic "reality checks" with the PBS Board of Director's Education Committee representing various educational organizations. Finally, the TeacherSource editorial staff is composed of educators with a variety of teaching backgrounds.

This site is designed to serve as a resource to those who are using the WebQuest model to teach with the web. A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
