PBS TeacherSource

By Teachers, For Teachers: PBS TeacherSource materials are developed by trained and practicing educators. In addition to having teachers create curriculum materials, PBS regularly seeks educator feedback through surveys and focus groups, receives ongoing guidance from the team of exemplary teachers who make up the TeacherSource Advisory Group, and conducts periodic "reality checks" with the PBS Board of Director's Education Committee representing various educational organizations. Finally, the TeacherSource editorial staff is composed of educators with a variety of teaching backgrounds.

The Webquest Page

This site is designed to serve as a resource to those who are using the WebQuest model to teach with the web. A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are designed to use learners' time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners' thinking at the levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation.
